The only info I have about this is from the nls moneyserver page:
Please execute viewer with "-helperuri [ENV_HELPER_URL/]" option. (ex. -loginuri http://localhost/currency/helper/ ) [need last '/' ]
Here, ENV_HELPER_URL is helper directory url that is set in include/config.php.
If you use 3rd party viewer (ex. Hippo, Meerkat or Imprudence etc.), you should use Grid Manager instead of "-helperuri" option.
 
I am currently using it on our gid and with these settings it seems to ork.

Just wondering about this money mod ...
Will we need to update for this mod to work ... ?
I'm happy using 2.1 here for now ... It works great for me and my users like it ...
There is a saying ... If its not broken don't fix it ...

Hehehe, dont be scared to update For jOpenSimMoney to work, an update will be required for sure. v0.2.1 did not yet have any functions for it at all. From the basic handling (besides currency) you wont feel much difference between 0.2.1 and the current 0.2.3 ... besides a few bug fixes.

From the perspective of your users, I can imagine, that the new profile function of 0.2.3 in combination with the new friends module also would be accepted positively

No, the module will only work in your grid, not in any other hyperlinked grids.

But it's ok i will give it ago ...

There are some money system implementations that work across grid-boundaries (eg. OMC or paypal) However those usually require specially adapted sales scripts.

At the same time when implementing a money system for your grid, you need to think about why you want iz? Do you want members to be able to trade only inside your grid (meaning the currency cannot be exchanged into rw money) or if you want a currency that can be converted to rw money (which leads to lots and lots of interesting legal questions and considerations ....)

IMHO having an inworld currency with no rw exchange should be enough for most grids, and that is why I am waiting (more or less ) patiently for photo's money modul

i think here in germany the converting to rw money is quite easier , here we only need to register a personal business which is about 20 euros one time and then your fine
