Event descriptions stripped of spaces

This topic was in mod_opensim_events, but ..

This is not a problem with the mod_opensim_events ..

This is a core component issue ..

This
"This is a test of spaces...
And
Carriage returns.."

got turned into this

"Thisisatestofspaces...AndCarriagereturns.."

In the database.
