I'm having a go at using osNpcSetProfileImage and OsNpcSetProfileAbout and they don't work for me, so wondering if NPC profiles are supported in jOpenSim profile system? Thanks
Ah okay - I'm using the latest release version (0.9.0.1) and the opensim wiki says those functions were added in that version, yet when I use them and look at the profile of an NPC it doesn't fill in either the profile image or the profile about when I use those.
If I understood it correctly, the use profile is created and managed via jOpenSim since I've editied the various ini files as per the information "Addon - Profiles" section so that's why I was wondering if it not supported yet?
These features have apparently been implemented in 2016 in OpenSimulator.
I looked in jOpenSim profile but I did not find a reference on it in the code.
So, unless I'm mistaken, at the moment it is not yet implemented in jOpenSim Profile.
Patch in the pipeline , I'm pretty sure that Foto50 is currently away, but for the meantime I'm attaching a compiled DLL that should work, tested fine on my grids ...
Fabulous thanks! The first time I tried creating a clone of myself, the profile of the NPC was my actual one, but since then I haven't been able to reproduce that one off and all now works as expected.
You may have run into the "god mode" bug, if you are in god mode and right click another avatar and you hit an attachment, then view the profile, it will show your own profile instead ..
I always use the radar to view profiles in that case ..
For that latest DLL I get the console giving an error:
