New User on OpenSim missing assetts

12 years 10 months ago #1112 by NoRemorse
Hi FoTo50,
First I would like to say jOpenSim is fantastic, well done.

The problem I am having is that any user on OpenSim that is created from your component is missing the default assets in their inventory, how can I fix this please?

I notice on the OpenSim console when I create a user I see this line:
07:50:22 - [USER ACCOUNT SERVICE]: Created user inventory for Test1 User

Perhaps yopur component is not executing this step?

Thanks in advance!

Hi NoRemorse

jOpenSim is just creating a set of empty folders for the new users inventory. Do you mean the "OpenSim Library" folder that is not created? This should be created by OpenSim itself automatically at first login ... what version of OpenSim are you using?

Hi,
No sorry I mean what the user is wearing to start, like a skin, hair, shape etc. Is there anyway like diva wifi that we can copy a default user?
Thanks.

Ah, you mean the possibility to choose from a set of avatars for initial startup, right?

This is since ages on the wish list but until now I was not able to implement it

But it is definately still in consideration and will be there hopefully quite soon ;)

Ok Thanks!
If I may suggest... some sort of integration with the diva wifi module might be easier for you to implement?
Anyway, all the best and good luck.
