jOpenSim Register

Im getting a register failed when trying to sign up and also noticed that Unique Visitors Last 60 Days: on viewer login screen is not displaying same as front page of site

do you have any more info about that?

Like when do you get this message? during a regular registration ? are both of the plugins enabled the user and admin?

I actually just ran into this problem too. It seemed to happen when a user created an account with a name that was already taken. I will try testing it out with known account names.

Strange, cause with the latest version of jOpenSimRegister, it should give at least an error message that the name choosen is already in use.

What is actually happening? Does the Joomla account get created and the OpenSim account not? Or what is the behaviour in this case?

Hi foto50,

It seems to happen in situations where the Joomla! username is unique, but the OpenSim name is taken. When a Joomla! username is taken it returns the error: 'The username you entered is not available. Please pick another username.', but when the OpenSim name is taken it returns: 'Registration failed: Registration failed: ". No account for either Joomla! or OpenSim appears to be created either way, but I will test it further.
